Who we are

Building people who build together

Our goal is to build strong, lasting relationships that allow us as a business, and you as our client, to prosper.

Strong things take effort and labor, whether it’s a business or a family. Our strongest relationships were built through hard work, good times, and some conflict along the way.

We give honesty and integrity, and we appreciate the same in return. We welcome demanding projects. To us, construction is a way to serve others, learn together, and challenge ourselves.

FAQ

Common questions

Don’t see your question? Call us at (337) 526-9710.

Which is better: a wood-frame pole barn or an all-steel building?

A pole barn is usually the more affordable option, but its wooden posts are set directly in the ground and need more maintenance over time. A steel building sits on a concrete foundation (grade beams, rebar, and a 4-inch slab), so it’s better protected from the elements. Either way, a building only lasts as long as its foundation and structure.

Is insulation necessary? What type should I use?

Insulation is never a bad choice. At a minimum, insulate the roof, because dark metal gets very hot. Of the common options, foil-backed bubble wrap works mainly as a reflective layer, and we’re not fans of spray foam. Our pick is fiberglass, at least 3 inches thick.

What do you think about barndominium-style houses?

They can make great-looking homes, but there are some common misconceptions. A metal house isn’t always cheaper than a traditional one, and financing can be harder to find because not every lender offers it. Windows and doors are the biggest leak risk, so we use specific methods to keep water out.

What size building should I get, and can I add on later?

It’s hard to know the right size until you’re using the building, so build what you need and don’t settle. A small increase in size often adds little to the cost. Buildings can be customized before or after construction, and we offer different price options to fit your budget.
